Audio Handoff Problems

I Use Oticon MFI hearing devices and have a problem using Audio Handoff between my iPhone 12 and iPadPro ver1

I have connected my MFI hearing devices on iPhone and iPad, and both work however they "fight" for connectivity , the result being a constant "Flip Flop between the iPhone and the iPad.

Has anyone had this issue or know of a fix?

I’ve only gotten it to work once. Everything that should be switched on is but the aids just won’t jump from my phone to my iPad and back again. Any help much appreciated.

Audio hand off during phone calls. My new iPhone 16 is running iOS 18.2.1 (note: this problem never occurred on my old iPhone XR, which also ran on iOS 18.2.1) During a recent phone call, the audio was somehow routed from iPhone to my hearing aids. Except, I wasn’t wearing my hearing aids. So I lost part of the call, as if the call had dropped. After finishing the call I looked in the accessibility/ hearing aids settings. The call routing is set to ‘automatic’, what ever that actually means. Wondering if there’s a way to prevent call audio from being routing to hearing aids when hearing aids are not Bluetooth coupled to the iPhone? TIA

Mfi not working iOS 18.2 / 16P I have a hearing aid for one ear and a cochlear implant for the other. I recently upgraded from a 13 using 18.2 beta, to a 16P with 18.2 public, and the phone will not show both devices in the xxx' HAs setting screen. On the 13, it worked perfectly, and I did not have to re- pair once, connected. On the 16P, however, It will show one or the other, and not stream through both hearing devices. Every time I shut off my devices, I have to manually reconnect, and disconnect, until I can get both devices to pair.. Even though the dual pairing does not show in the HA setting screen. I've tried just about every sequence of pairing I can think of, but it's like rolling the dice - sometimes it works, sometimes not. And I have to have the streaming working to hear incoming phone calls. I have contacted the makers of the devices, and Apple, and it seems to be a bug in the way 18.2 handles digital audio in the 16P. But does anyone have a band aid solution? This is really a problem..
