My MacBook Air got wet

My computer got wet. What now, I’ve been letting it dry for 40 plus hours. when can unplug it in and see if it works?

Liquid Damage is not covered by standard warranty. 💦


Turning on a wet machine can cause more damage and increase the cost of repair. ⚠️

As we have no idea how wet it got I'd wait at least a week or two with good air circulation around it. However don't plug it in, just see if it'll turn on. Don't be surprised however if there are issues with your mac as water and electronics do not mix well together. Better yet to avoid electrical shock potential you could have it examined at an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider near you.
