Nor is Carddav or google an Apple issue. You need to ask google if you sync contacts with them, make sure you let them know how annoying it is.
someone said to delete cardDav from your Iphone by going to setting, mail, accounts, google.com and it is the cardDav account and delete it. But then it says it by deleting this account it will remove its contacts and contacts from your iphone. Yikes don't want risk that. Although I have contacts under my email address as well. Anybody know what deleting CardDav will actually do but stop the annoying pop up?
good luck getting google to answer anything, on hold for two hours and no answer.
