Precipitation Map not working in Weather App

3/7/23: I’m on an Apple iPhone 13 iOS 16.3.1. Forecast is for a lot of rain. My precipitation map in the weather app has not been working for a couple of weeks. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Apple weather map Apple weather map has had blocks of distortion since dark sky has been eliminated. Been through many of updates. This is on both my iPads in my iPhones. Very disappointing dark sky or perfect for years now the weather app for me seems useless. I have waited been patient have seen many people say same things and no fix.Yesterday we had hurricane pass through and said no rain while raining this is what made me complain today.If can not fix give us dark sky back it worked perfect I do not need all other stuff when dose not work. Distorted Map has been that way nonstop on all my devices.

Weather app satellite map does not show the Timelapse precipitation map When I select the satellite map portion of the weather app to see the Timelapse of the precipitation in my area, no data is displayed. It only displays a blank map. Location service is always on for the weather app. I see the issue both on iPhone and iPad.

My problem is that the precipitation map (possibly other maps) has a problem redrawing the cloud/perception overt on the map. I’ve tried zooming in and out and switching to/from “next hour” and “12-hour”. iPhone Xr iOS 16.3.1.
