Weather app satellite map does not show the Timelapse precipitation map

When I select the satellite map portion of the weather app to see the Timelapse of the precipitation in my area, no data is displayed. It only displays a blank map. Location service is always on for the weather app. I see the issue both on iPhone and iPad.

Similar questions

Weather map precipition data missing on iPhone Easy for anyone to reproduce. Just open the weather app and load the precipitation map. It is always blank. Any other weather app can load the data. Just not Apple. Disgusting as this issue is not new. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Weather app not working Have gone to check my weather app today and it isn’t working. It still shows my set locations but just 2 lines under the name and nothing loads up. background refresh is all correct as is location services.
