iBooks Font Size Option Missing iOS 16.3.1 iPad

Font size is very small in some books and immediately following the 16.3.1 update the ability to increase font size has disappeared. Tried restart, looked in settings, unable to locate. Are others experiencing this and is there a fix ?

Settings are located in the round-cornered box, bottom right, which appears when tapping in the middle of the page.
