Translate app stuck on "Download Offline Languages"

Why doesn't the translate work on Pro Max versions of iPhone?

Apple's stock answers of "restart phone" and "check for updates" are BS. Totally irrelevant. The more you update the phone, the worse the translate app works.

It looks like you didn't read the subject line. The app is stuck on "download offline languages." It is unable to download any languages due to a defect in the app code. This will require developer attention to remedy.

Hello Apple_is_Awful25,

If you need to download languages to start using the Translate application, go to Settings > scroll down and select Translate > Downloaded Languages. In there select the down arrow on the language you want to use for translations.

If you're having an issue with the actual download, then you'll want to contact Apple to report that issue: Get Support
