Apple TV /paramount + / Star Trek Picard S3E2 issue

I get Paramount Plus through Apple TV subscription so there isn’t a “provider” other than Apple.

This feels like an Apple/Paramount issue.

Then please contact the Apple Media Services staff about that.

On what device is this happening?Unfortunately, it can happen that the Apple TV app shifts the setting for the preferred content provider for shows that are available from multiple content providers. Reasons include availability changes for which content providers, differences in episode numbering, differences in availability date/​time between the content providers (mainly for new episodes; one cp might be faster than another).

1. When you see this happening, go to the Details page for the show or episode, scroll down to How to Watch, and set the wanted content provider there.
2. If the issue persists, then remove the show entry from Up Next, and start watching your episode from the intended content provider. The Apple TV app should then automatically add it to Up Next again, with the correct content provider linking.

My problem is similar: I was halfway through S3E5 and it just stopped. Any attempt to restart it resulted in the above problems.

This is happening to me now. I had downloaded the S3E5 on my iPad via the Apple TV app and watched half of it on a flight. Today it will not play from any of my devices nor my downloaded copy. All other episodes work fine, other paramount shows work fine, but this one keeps trying to push me to prime
