External Microphone isn’t working

So I recently bought an external microphone from MOVO. It’s the VXR10 and the WMX-1 types the one that I can use just the Apple version camera app with the external microphones. So it dosent need an app for it I believe, love to be proven wrong.


for some reason it won’t work. It recognize there’s a device but not actually use the microphone. I was able to work the microphone before I updated it but I have no clue why it will complicate things.


any advice would be great.

Probably you are using third-party apps and a third-party device.


If you are experiencing any difficulty with third-party apps or a specific website or a product then please contact the app developer or site publisher/host or the manufacturer directly. Here is how

  • To contact a web publisher —> Scroll Down to the bottom of the web page. You will find: Contact Us, Help Center, Support, Terms of use, etc.
  • To contact the Manufacturer --> Please read the manual that may have come along with the product.
