spatial audio not working in Microsoft edge browser

I have a macbook air M1 and airpods pro, when watch any content that supports spatial audio on safari browser that feature works perfectly fine. However, when i watch the same content on Microsoft edge browser the spatial audio does not work and the option to enable it greys out. I have attached a picture of it below. Is there any fix for this?

Safari audio not going through headphones Hi everyone, Safari audio (all audio) doesn't come through my headphones, either in Bluetooth mode or with the jack plugged in. It's the only app that behaves this way, and I can't figure out how to fix it. Before it is recommended, yes: I have already checked that the audio settings are correct. Safari is the only app (and the only web browser) doing this. Thanks in advance!
