iPhone 14 Charging

Just got new iPhone 14 and wondering if we can charge via lightening to USB A plugged into our sofa which has the usb a access. Will this damage our new phones? Our previous phones we charged this way were iPhone 7. Thanks!

You can charge it the same way using a Lightning to USB-A cable. It won't damage the phone.
