Apple TV and sound bar disconnects or sound keeps playing when paused

Hi!

I have a 4K Apple TV and a Samsung TV. I'm using a Sonos ARC that is connected to my TV via HDMI ARC port. I connect the sounder to my Apple TV by selecting the "living room", which is the ARC and two Sonos One's used as surround speakers.

Two problems are happening:

Sound keeps disconnecting randomly, either going back to TV sound or just not playing any sound at all.
When I pause, sound sometimes keep going on for seconds before stopping, or not stopping at all, forcing me to go back to the show menu to make it stop.

Also, some Apps are worse than others in that sense.

At first, I thought it was a Sonos problem (couldn't believe that could be Apple's problem), but the more I read, the more I realize it might be my Apple TV!

Any thoughts?

Does the issue occur when you disconnect your sound bar and use the TV audio instead? This information will help us to further isolate the cause of the behavior.

Also, have you tried restarting your Apple TV with the steps in this link to see if that helps with the issue? How to turn off or restart your Apple TV - Apple Support
