my hard drive doesn't appear in finder. I am starting up a refurbished computer and the hard drive doesn't appear in finder

With Finder on the Menu bar > select Finder > Preferences or Settings > click on the Sidebar tab > check Hard Drives.

Hard drive not showing My hard drive is not showing up on my laptop (Macbook Pro 2019 13" macOS Catalina) but does on other devices. This has recently started happening. It will show there is something there in the disk utility but it is not the same name as the hard drive. I have tried to unmount using terminal etc.
