Apple TV on Roku

Almost everytime I try to watch something on the the Apple TV app on Roku it'll play the Previously on whatever show part but then it goes go a grey screen that says it can't play that right now and if it continues to check my internet connection. Then I have to go reset my internet connection and then it plays fine. Is there something I can do so I don't have to go this every time I want to watch something on Apple TV? It's only Apple TV, everything else works fine.
