How can I get my Monterey imac to recongnize my sd card
Does anyone know how to get iMac Monterey to recognize sd card to export photos. Nothing comes up up on screen when I insert card into computer

The Card should be accessible in Finder or your desktop if the option to show external storage devices is turned on in Finder Preferences. Finder Menu ➜ Preferences ➜ General and SideBar. Make sure External Disks is checked in both places.
If that is set correctly, and it is not visible, make sure it's formatted in some way the Mac can access.
Also, please provide the model / year of iMac. Does it have a built in SD card slot, or are you using an external one. If an external one, please detail how it's connected to the Mac.
