Wi-Fi connection while shut down

Does the ( Wi-Fi only ) iPad Air 5 wifi function in any way after shutting down if Wi-Fi is not turned off before shutting down ? Does this include iPhones with cellular service also ?

iPhone 13 drops BOTH WiFi and cellular connection overnight My iPhone 13 is dropping both the WiFi and cellular connection overnight. It occurs at home and at work (I work 48 hr shifts) so it’s not isolated to one location. Every morning I have to shutdown and restart. WiFi calling disconnects My iPhone SE 2nd generation frequently disconnects from Wi-Fi calling, even though the device is connected to the WiFi with a strong signal. This seems to happen at times when there is no cellular connection to Verizon. I saw a suggestion to fix this problem by resetting the phone, but I’m worried that may cause more problems. Please advise.

When shut-down, the iPad is fully powered off - including its WiFi connection.

Yes. It’s the same. Off means off.

Thank you for the feedback , would you happen to know if this is the same for an iPhone with cellular plan and it’s shut down with Wi-Fi and cellular settings remaining on do connection to both cease ?
