I wanted to know can I edit the Artist Image in iTunes/Music? I know the Artist can

No, Apple haven't provided a mechanism for users to select artist images.

I am afraid the Music app will replace existing album art. Having this option unselected may block adding artist picture for a new album that I add to the Music library. However, I just very recently unselected that option. And the missing artist picture problem I have since a long time. What would really be helpful is some information about what "Automatic update artwork" does and does not do. Information beyond the one sentence that is given in the Music app Preferences. And how artist pictures are placed. What is the process the Music app goes through to select and place an artist's picture? What could go wrong in this process? What can one do to maximize the chance that an artist's picture is found and placed.

JPEG, PNG OR PNG UNCOMPRESSED FOR APPLE MUSIC UPLOAD? I was wondering if there were pros and cons depending on how apple music compresses their images. The File Size makes me wonder. Does anyone know out of this list what image would look the best given to them. I have no clue how they render the images for releases. Music artwork appearing for home videos instead of screenshots I've just synced my iPhone and it looks like nearly all of my Home Videos now have music album artwork (from music I own) instead of a randomly selected screenshot from a part of each movie. This is a ridiculous problem. Why on earth can't the home movies just be left alone? I have not added any artwork to them as there was no need and I was happy with the random screenshot from each movie which enabled it to be identified easily on sight. It makes no sense that the computer would randomly allocate a music album artwork. How terrible is this software?! Does anyone know how to fix this?
