You need to use the same Apple ID.

Apple iTunes movie purchase long term availability I've purchased a lot of movies from the iTunes Store, will i lose any of my purchases if at some point Apple no longer makes has the movies or tv shows available in their store, and I haven’t downloaded all of my purchases?
