Facetime stopped working all of a sudden

Wondering if your friend has an Apple device (ie: you both can use wi-fi to FaceTime ok)

or

Whether your friend may be using a non-Apple device ... (you would need to use cellular .. ie: turn on in settings ... data plan charges may apply).

Thank you for replying, and letting us know a little more about the situation.

Sorry nothing has worked to restore FaceTime contact with your friend.

As you say, it could have something to do with your iPhone carrier.
