Delete History

How do I delete history on safari iMac. It's always worked until today. When I highlight the selected history item and hit delete on the keyboard, nothing happens.

I have tried all of the following fixes, but nothing works:

Restart your Mac from the Apple () menu then Restart. Try deleting the same history again.
Check for any extensions that might access history: Get extensions to customize Safari on Mac
Start the Mac in safe mode and try removing the history there: How to use safe mode on your Mac
Use Malwarebytes to scan for any items: Malwarebytes

Anyone else having the same problem or have any answers?

I can not reproduce your issue...

The current stable release of Ventura including bug fixes, security updates is macOS Ventura 13.2.1

Keep your Mac up to date - Apple Support

Safari>History>Show All History> select and delete.

you can try Clear History and compare your results.

Here is what works for me:

Under the Safari History menu item, select Show All History

In that list, select one item and hit delete key on keyboard

When I do that, the item is deleted from the browsing history.
