Applecare Plus + Theft and Loss - does it work internationally?

Hey guys,

I purchased my Apple iphone pro max 14 in Thailand, where I travel to often.

I travel often and spend time in multiple countries.

My Apple store is set on the U.S. store so I am offered Applecare plus + Theft and Loss.

Question is if I subscribe to Applecare plus + theft and loss, and i lose it abroad (i.e. in Thailand, Singapore, any other country), will I be able to claim the theft and loss benefit?

I'm getting mixed answers from Apple support, and Apple Thailand isn't sure too.

It does mention "For complete details, see the AppleCare+ for iPhone Terms and Conditions and the Theft and Loss Insurance Documentation applicable to your state."
