This is really annoying. Some contacts and their SMS messages in my phone won't sync with my MacBook.
I have re-set my iMessage and contacts preferences on my Mac and iPhone. I have restarted my iPhone and Mac. And am at a loss as to what to do next.
Please help!
My MacBook is on Monterey, 12.4. My iPhone is on iOS 16.2.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. Are you using iCloud to sync contacts and messages? If so, and only some of the contacts and messages are syncing, check out this article: Set up iCloud for Contacts on all your devices. The article provides steps to ensure iCloud for Contacts is set up on both the iPhone and MacBook.
In regards to messages, are you syncing them via iCloud? If so, follow the steps in this article to ensure both the iPhone and the Mac has iCloud for Messages enabled: Set up iCloud for Messages on all your devices.
