2023 Macbook pro Sound issues Hi have a new 2023 16" Macbook Pro M2 replacing a 2019 16" Macbook Pro i9. On the 2019, I selected sound output to my Samsung TV and all was well. On the 2023, the sound continues to play through the Macbook Pro speakers even though it is set correctly to the Samsung TV. Not sure what to do here since it worked very well on the 2019 and not at all on the 2023. Any ideas where I can look to fix this? It is exactly the same cable as used on my 2019.

sound in Mac Ventura 13.2.1 broadcasted to TV instead of output in settings Hello, Even though not selected in "system settings"--->"sound", sound is being played on my TV, without having been turned on....and not through my typical audio interface with headphones. My audio interface/headphones is selected under "system settings"--->"sound". Not only do I not hear any sound coming from my headphones but my TV was turned on and the sound is coming from my TV. Again, the TV, Airplay listing is not selected. The audio codec is. I rely on sound for my work in Apples Logic Pro. Does anyone else have this problem?

Sound bar Have as LG TV; Apple TV , trying to add an LG sound bar (S80QY) can not get sound through the sound bar, any help would be appreciated

what do you see in your menubar sound options?

and what method (adapter and cable) are you using to send the signal to the TV?

In the list of speakers, Samsung is not present.Tv connected with a cable.Problem with comp.I try another cable and a different tv set
