Apple music opens automatically after call with bluetooth headphones on Iphone

I've sat on calls with the Apple support team, sat on hold for over an hour, chatted with the Apple support team, chatted with my own organizations IT support team, searched forums and the community pages and have not found a resolution to this absolutely frustrating issue that is so simple and yet so damaging.

When I'm on a call on my iphone using bluetooth headphones and the call is ended (whether I hit the red button with my finger, whether the call drops, whether I use button on headphones to end call) without fail Apple Music excitedly opens up automatically on my Macbook (venture 13.2). Apple, who FORCES us to have certain dumb apps including Apple Music, acts like this is an unsolvable issue.

I've tried it all: removed startup items, disabled notifications, I even found a script I ran in my terminal that worked at one point until the latest update so please dont offer up the 101 level fixes. I'm at a loss about this issue.

I just sat on hold with my 3rd support person from Apple for 20 minutes while they looked into the issue. They screen shared and tried everything I just mentioned above, then put me on hold, then after 20 minutes the call ended. I have no call-back number or any course of action to get back to the personnel helping me so here I am.

Please does anyone have any resolution to this? Will Apple ever claim responsibility for their own products? Will they always force apps to remain on a device without being able to disable them? What is going on here, can someone please help.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.6
