I just got an Apple Watch and have been wearing it for 5 nights now but it is not recording sleep data, only total hours slept. Is there a fix for getting the sleep stage data?

I am having the same issue - both my phone and watch have the latest iOS updates. Some days I get detailed sleep data and sometimes I only get time in bed.

I went into the health app and to the sleep category and turned off the “track time in bed with iPhone” and that fixed it.
Is your watch updated to WatchOS 9.3. Is your iPhone updated to iOS 16.3?

My sleep data is only showing my time asleep, not my sleep stage data. How do I get sleep stage data?
