No Dual mono option for voiceover
I recorded a voiceover using FCPX built-in tool and the audio is mono. I would like to change it to dual mono, but there is not option for that in the inspector.

There must be something else going on to have mono audio only playing from one speaker. Have you tried resetting FCP Prefs? It's an easy thing to try when inexplicable things start happening in FCP. Hold the option and command keys while launching FCP, then choose Delete Preferences... It will open the default Untitled library. Re-open the library you were working on, set the preferences back to the way you like (background rendering off, leave files in place, etc.) and see if the issue has been resolved.

First, thank you all for helping me!
1) Changing the Pan Parameter made no difference
2) Yes, I'm sure it's happening. I'm just as confused....
3) As I was clicking to take the screenshot I accidentally change to Left. But setting to Mono or Center also didn't help.
A few more things, I tried different macs and different headphones (speakers too) just to be sure. The voiceover was recorded in a MBP with the mic/headset from a older iPhone (with a 3.5mm conector) not sure if that makes any difference.
Not sure if I'm missing something, but why can I see the Dual Mono option (as the image below)
The recording is one mono channel.
I'd question why dual mono? You're not planning to pan them left and right, I hope. That doesn't give you stereo separation, and can introduce phasing issues. If it's mono, it's mono, why change it?
Yes, it's mono and I would like to change it to dual mono so it plays in both speaker (earphones). Right now it only plays in one side.
Then change the Pan parameter, simple.
Just because it is mono does not mean it plays on only one side. Are you sure that is what's happening?
Your screenshot shows it set to Left. Set it Mono or Center.
Because it’sa stereo recording. It can either be stereo so the channels are controlled together, put dual mono so the channels can be controlled independently.
