XProtect Full Disk Access

This question has been addressed a few times,

Should "XProtect" be unchecked and reques… - Apple Community

XProtect.app unchecked in Full Disk Acces… - Apple Community

however neither OP nor responders have managed to articulate the root of the question or answer, which is - do I check the box or would you check it?

XProtect shows up as requesting Full Disk Access with it being unchecked of course.

It has been stated it doesn't need this permission from us and our choice to check it or not. Being that it is usually handled entirely in the background we are unsure what if anything is or isn't specifically happening with it unchecked, should we check it regardless of Mac's impervious nature since it usually has full access naturally, and more so to the point is this issue occurring in your computers and if it is/were is this a box you would check. If I understood the intricacies of security to the depths of being able to comprehend the associated security related information dump articles I would hardly need to ask the question. So?
