file cant be found
I receive a ""file name" can't be found" message after moving a file on my computer but once I reboot the computer I am able to open the file in its new location. This happened after updating my Mac.
MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.2

Apple Support just told me macOS 13.3 (now available) should fix this.

If this is a one-off glitch I would ignore it.
Shutting down and restarting more than once after an update can side step many temporary glitches in the process.
This is not a one off glitch. I have this error often in Ventura. After moving or copying files (usually images) I cannot open the file on the first try. If I try one or two more times it will open. It's almost as if it is still copying but it's not. I usually don't have to reboot or anything. It feels like a APFS issue.
I also have this issue for several months now. It is incredibly frustrating and I am unable to find a solution anywhere. I am running Ventura 13.2.1 and have rebuilt the spotlight index already.
I upgraded to Ventura 13.3 a few days ago and this bug still constantly appears.
same here, and I cannot find my post about it, looks like apple deleted it. Its a Ventura issue, and has NOT been resolved.
Ditto. A month after your post it's still happening, at least to me. I have OS13.3.1(a)
This bug appears to have been permanently resolved for me since 13.4. Thank you Apple!
