Call forwarding

I’m not able to switch on call forwarding. Once I enter the number where I want to forward my calls, after switching on the button, it automatically gets switched off .

i tried to contact my service provider also but they say it’s an ios problem. I’m running on ios 16.3

please help

Not all carriers support controlling that from the settings on the phone. Your carrier should be able to provide instructions on how to forward your calls.
