Using airline wifi with MacBook Pro

For some reason since I installed the Ventura update I am not redirected to the American or Delta airlines inflight websites after I connect to their wifi networks while on the plane. I can't even access the sites when I manually enter the URL's. I do not have this issue if I use my iPad so it seems like there is some setting on my MacBook that is blocking access to airplane wifi. I would appreciate hearing from anyone that knows a solution or has experienced this problem. Thanks

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.2

Hello vanallen,

If you're unable to connect to captive Wi-Fi networks, you'll want to check for any security settings or software that may be blocking it.

Go to System Settings > Network > VPN, and see if you currently have any VPN software installed on the system. If you do, try disabling it and test.

Set up a VPN connection on Mac

Check to see if you have any configuration profiles installed on the system. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Profiles. If anything is installed there, try disabling it and test.

Use configuration profiles to standardize settings on Mac computers

Check your installed applications in Finder or Launchpad and see if you have any type of security/antivirus programs installed on the system. If you do, try disabling it and test.

If there's no security settings or software enabled that may restrict internet access, then you'll want to contact Apple to report the issue: Get Support

Cheers!
