AirPlay not working on MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.2

I regularly AirPlay to a Yamaha RX-V677 from my 2021 16 " MacBook Pro M1 Pro. As of a few days ago, I can't get AirPlay to work to this device from my MacBook Pro but it works fine from my iPhone, iPad and another computer in the house, a 27" 2018 iMac, also running Ventura. I can AirPlay to an Apple TV 4K device on the network with no problem.

I am really baffled. AirPlay to the Yamaha works fine from all other Apple devices on the network. Yes, the Yamaha and the MacBook Pro are on the same WiFi network. What's crazy is that this has been working for at least 5 years and has never had a hiccup.

I've tried restarting both the MacBook Pro and the Yamaha as well as checking and rechecking my network settings with no success. Any direction or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your suggestion. This isn't the fault of the Yamaha RX-V677. I can AirPlay from my iPhone, iPad and even my other Mac in the house. The problem is limited to my MacBook Pro.

I have contacted Yamaha, and of course, they point to Apple.

My best guess is that this is a security/network issue that I'm not seeing. Nonetheless, the problem is with Apple and my MacBook Pro, not with Yamaha.

BTW, I can access the Yamaha's homepage to manage it via a browser. In addition, the gateway shows it connected with a valid IP. The only thing I can't do is AirPlay to it as I can with all my other Apple devices.

Having the same problem on my Bowers and Wilkins A5 speakers. they work fine with my iPhone, so seems to be a problem with the macOS

Having the same problem with Marantz M-CR611. Works fine with iPhone and worked great on mac until suddenly stopped in the last weeks with Ventura 13.2.1
