MacBook Pro getting very hot
My 16” MacBook Pro is getting very hot recently. I believe it is 2019 with an Intel i9 and 16 gb of memory. I recently got the bottom case replaced by apple and they also gave me a new battery. I was using it earlier and I noticed that it was very hot. I looked in CleanMyMacX and it was at 175° F and the load was only at 4%. This persisted for about 30 mins. I restarted it a few times and reset the SMC and NVRAM and the issue persisted for a little while and then seemed to have figured itself out. However, I noticed that it heats up to that point, but only when the display goes to sleep, or when it is turned off and charging. Can someone please assist me with this?
by the way: There is nothing obstructing the vents. The room temperature is fine and there is proper airflow. It is not any of that. It is the MacBook itself. Whether this is something hardware or software related, I’m not sure. I did recently update it.
