i just received (this morning) my iPhone bought new and when it’s on speaker phone there is only sound coming from the top of the phone resulting in a very quiet output.
all other sounds, such as music or videos, are much louder and I hear most of the sound from the bottom. Has anyone else experienced this issue or is this normal? I have seen other posts where people say it is as loud or louder than their previous iPhone.

Since it's a brand new iPhone, if you have any concerns with the speakers on the phone, schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation. While I honestly can't remember which speaker sounds for speaker phone calls on my iPhone 14 Pro Max, I can say it is more than loud enough. I think only one speaker outputs for voice calls though.
Once place to check to make sure the sound settings are correct however, would be to go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual and make sure Balance is adjusted correctly. It should be at 0.00 directly in the middle of the slider there.

While you were on a speaker phone call, did you attempt to adjust the volume higher?
Yes, it was at max volume
Thanks for your help, I just wanted to make sure there wasn’t a setting I was missing before I took it in. Hopefully I can get it resolved without paying.
