Hello jobsmademe,

If the Handoff function is not working you'll want to start with the basics like restarting your devices and making sure they're up to date.

Restart your iPhone

Shut down or restart your Mac

Update your iPhone

Update macOS on Mac

If you've done that, then you'll want to make sure everything is configured properly for it.

• Make sure both devices are signed into the same Apple ID.

• Make sure both devices have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on.

• Make sure both devices have the Handoff option turned on.

You'll also want to make sure you're using an application that supports Handoff.  Safari, Mail, Maps, Reminders, Calendar, Contacts, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and FaceTime are the built in apps that work with Handoff, and it will work with many 3rd party apps. If you've been trying to do handoff with a 3rd party app and it's not working, test out one of the supported built in apps on the device to see if it works. If it works with a built in app but not a 3rd party one, that application most likely doesn't support the Handoff function.

Use Handoff to continue tasks on your other devices

Cheers!
