Email crashing
Since the latest OS update my email will crash if I pick on my junk folder. This only happens on my 2018 Macbook Air, but not on my Mini, iPad or iPhone. Any suggestions?

Got it, teedup,
If Mail closes unexpectedly on your Mac, you can follow the steps outlined here to help isolate this behavior further: If an app on your Mac stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support
"1. Quit and reopen the app
Quit the app, then open it again. If the app won't quit, force the app to quit. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.
2. Restart your Mac
Restart your Mac. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.
3. Check for updates
To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, then click Updates. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your Mac. Or if you didn't get the app from the App Store, look for updates to the app on the app developer's website. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.
4. Reinstall the app
Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. If you didn't get the app from the App Store, redownload the app on the app developer's website. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed."
We hope this helps.
Cheers!
Hi teedup,
Thanks for the update. Let's try deleting the email account and then adding it back. This will help to further isolate the issue.
To delete the account, follow these steps: Log out of or remove email accounts in Mail on Mac - Apple Support
To add it again, follow these steps: Add email accounts in Mail on Mac - Apple Support
Let us know the results.
Take care.
Thanks for letting us know teedup,
At this point, since the above steps were unsuccessful, your best bet would be to Contact Apple for support and service to further troubleshoot the issue.
Hope that helps.
Take care.
Still no luck. It only crashes when I select the junk folder. I'm using the Apple email app and was going to delete it and reinstall but I didn't see it in the App Store.
This happens on my MacBook Air not on any other devices. None of the steps above apply.
That didn't work either, mail still crashes when I pick on the "junk" folder. All other folders are ok.
