How to Erase unwanted person or things from my picture?

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand you'd like to remove objects from your photos. This article has some steps that may help: Lift a subject from the photo background on iPhone.

"In the Photos app , you can isolate the subject of a photo from the photo background, and then copy or share it in other documents and apps. This feature is available on supported models and can also be used in Safari, Quick Look, and more.

1. Open a photo.
2. Touch and briefly hold the subject of the photo. When it’s outlined, do one of the following:

• Tap Copy, then paste the subject into an email, text message, or note.
• Tap Share, then choose a sharing option, such as AirDrop, Messages, or Mail."

You may also consider using a third-party app in the App Store to do this.

Do you go into edit mode before touching the object in the pic?

if u want to erase an object out of ure photo, how would u do that? And if you erase the object does it leave a white hole where it was or does it try to “fill it in” with the existing background to pull from?
