On Monday this week I took my watch off the charger and it said too many passcode attempts and forced me to reset my watch. This morning (Wednesday) I took it off the charger and I'm locked out for 2 hours for incorrect passcode attempts. How is my watch getting passcode attempts while on the charger?

Any children or other person or pet in the house who may be tapping your watch screen when its on its charger? You can certainly unlock an Apple Watch while it is on its charger by tapping the screen and entering the correct passcode. If someone tries this too many times and doesn't know the correct passcode, what you're seeing is certainly possible.
