Apple TV remote won’t control my new Fire TV set
Using a Fire tv with a AppleTV The auto volume function won’t work if selected. Only the control with IR works and the option to turn on and off the tv says not compatible.

I found The issue in my own. The HDMI CEC setting was off in the deep Fire TV settings. Now all works a normal.
