Is there any urgency on a real fix for this bug?? I have run into it twice just today and am already over it. I know this came from the most recent update because the issue NEVER HAPPENED ONCE prior to the update. You can do nothing on the blurred screen, you can't even select the search bar or type in it. The phone just gets stuck there and you have to hard reset. Really wish Apple's update bugs weren't so terrible but apparently even in 2023 it's hard to release something that--I don't know--just WORKS HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO!!

Hi Slickchar,

We appreciate you reaching out to us.

We’d like to gather additional details that may help us be in a better position to assist you.

  1. Is the issue isolated to the Search feature?
  2. Have you had the chance to make sure that the available storage of your device is not extremely low?

If your device storage is extremely low, your device might offer recommendations that may help.

  1. "Tap Show All to see all the recommendations for your device.
  2. Read the description of each recommendation, then tap Enable to turn it on or tap the recommendation to review the contents you can delete."

For accuracy, is your device running iOS 16.3?

If no, please update to iOS 16.3.

While it isn't inherently assured that an update will resolve the issue, updating to the latest software version for your device can help isolate potential software issues.

Kindly secure a backup and update.
