If you haven't, here are the steps.
- On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click General in the sidebar, then click Sharing on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)
- Turn on File Sharing, then click the Info button on the right.
- Click Options, then select “Share files and folders using SMB.” If you’re sharing files with Windows users, select the On checkbox for each user who will share files from a Windows computer. You may need to enter the password for that user’s account.
- Click Done.
