Problem with receiving GIF in messages

This just started happening this week. When someone sends me GIF, I don't get the image....just a text box stating that there's a GIF. This is NOT a droid issue....it's happening with iPhones. See below for a screenshot of what I'm getting:

How to delete a sent gif in iPhone Messages? I sent a gif to a friend that I want to delete. For some reason I cant delete the gif. I was able to delete other text in the thread, but the gif just keeps reappearing each time I delete it. I’ve tried multiple different ways of deleting it and nothing. Anyone have any tips? Messages not receiving images/gifs On an iPhone 11, after the latest update. I can send gifs in messages, but cannot receive them from other iPhone users. Sometimes I am notified there is a gif that I just can’t see, other times nothing comes through at all. This is happening from iPhone users, not specifically only android. I’ve tried several resets and it is still not fixed. When I’m sent a gif in messages, it is like a Denial of Service (DoS) as going into Settings\Messages freezes the iPhone and ONLY a reboot recovers using the iPhone.
