MBP 2023 M2pro with Wi-Fi 6E

I live in China and need to upgrade my very old MacBook Pro. I would like to buy one of the new 2023 MBP 14" (either M2pro or M2max). The official prospectus says the Wi-Fi 6E capacity is not offered in China. Does it mean that you can't use Wi-Fi 6E in China because it is not supported here (as the country is allocating the corresponding band wave to 5G), OR does it mean that the MPB 2023 sold in China will not have this capacity, even when used in another country where wifi 6E is / will be available ?! Thanks in advance for your help in clarifying this important detail ! Greetings from Yunnan Province. Gerard

Well if the MacBook Pro had antennas like that picture, it would have no hardware issues with reception!

Wi-Fi 6E is a very modest extension of Wi-fI 6 into an additional upper band that was typically used for Router-to-Router traffic.

if your available models in China have Wi-Fi-6 (without the E) Wi-Fi-6 may still be able to provide speeds up to around 1 G bits/sec at very close range.

It is most likely that the radio bandwidth required is not assigned to Wi-Fi, but is used for other purposes.

For example in the US, large chunks of the Wi-Fi 5 bandwidth in the 5 GHz band might be is use for Radar. Any Router that allows setting channels in that range MUST automatically change channel if it encounters radar data. Some Routers simply do not use those channels.
