How do I solve this one.... "The operation cannot be completed because 'folder' needs to be downloaded".

What happens if you try to move this folder to a location that is not synced to Dropbox? Can you do it? If you can, then you should subsequently be able to delete it,
If the above doesn’t work you could try deleting the folder using Terminal.
Where is this folder? It looks like it is in some location that is synced to an online service (dropbox, onedrive or similar).
I should add I am trying to delete the folder.
It's on my Desktop. It Syncs to my Dropbox but there is nothing left to Sync and Dropbox is up to date.

No I cannot move the folder either, the same error message occurs.
I have not used Terminal before, if you could provide step by step instructions that would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to give it a go myself (I changed the folder name to make it easier)....
Not sure why permission is not granted. Can anyone help?
Problem solved through changing permissions and privileges on the folder.
