WhatsApp Call Blank Screen after MacOS 13.2 Upgrade

My WhatsApp Desktop App works fine on my MacBook Pro 16 (2022) until I upgraded to MacOS 13.2. Now every time I initiate WhatsApp call, I get a blank screen, which means I cannot mute or even end the call as no button is visible.

Hi eureka04,

If WhatsApp is not working as expected, let's follow the steps below to isolate if not resolve this: If an app freezes or quits unexpectedly on Mac - Apple Support

1.If an app doesn’t quit as expected, or it’s unresponsive, you can force quit the app (you may lose unsaved changes). Choose Apple menu  > Force Quit, select the app in the dialog that appears, then click Force Quit.

2.If the app quit, reopen it by clicking Reopen in the dialog that appears.

3.Restart your Mac by choosing Apple menu > Restart.

4.Make sure the app is compatible with your version of macOS.

5.Open another file in the app. There may be a problem with the original file.

6.Check for updates to your software.

7.Uninstall any app plug-ins or enhancements from other manufacturers.

8.If you recently updated the app or macOS, a plug-in or enhancement you installed may no longer be compatible."

Hope this helps.

Cheers.
