AirPod volume

Hi, recently my volume has been turned down when I have my AirPods in. When I have the volume all the way up, it only sounds like it’s halfway up. I have tried a couple ways to fix this and none have worked. I can’t tell if it’s my iPhone 13 Pro doing something to my volume or my AirPod speakers have blown or something. This is frustrating because I got this NEW pair just a couple months ago and would like them to work properly. Also everyone is saying they can hear very loud music from my AirPods (even though it’s very quiet in my ears. My AirPods just randomly became quiet when I put them in yesterday and was wondering if someone could help me. Thanks.
