Family member keeps dropping off iCloud

We have a shared iCloud account and one family member keeps dropping off. If he signs out of iCloud and back in it will add him to the family sharing plan again, but only for a very short time and then he has to do it all over again. Why does this keep happening? There are 6 of us sharing the family plan and the other 5 have no problem. He has an iPhone 14 and a Macbook Pro all running the latest iOS if that matters.

It may help to try having the affected Family Sharing member change their Apple ID's password, even if they may not be having issues with it at the moment, and see if that has helped out.


This page can help notate the steps for changing the password when they know the current one: Change your Apple ID password - Apple Support


Change your Apple ID password on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch
1. Tap Settings > your name > Password & Security.
2. Tap Change Password.
3. Enter your current password or device passcode, then enter a new password and confirm the new password. Forgot your password?
4. Tap Change or Change Password.


If the issue does persist after that, they may try using this link to start a support request with Apple Support to investigate it further: Apple Support
