I have an Xs max and an iPhone 11 unlocked and it hasn’t updated to 16 version it says 15.7 is up to date anyone else w this issue

Open Settings, go into VPN & Device Management, remove the beta profile, restart the unit, and run Software Update again. If there isn't one, check that it can properly communicate with Apple's servers.

Did you try to connect to your computer and check for iOS updates?
Yes I did and it still doesn’t update it’s been at the 15.7 version for over a month
