Print settings don't work any more when upgraded to Ventura.

since I upgraded to Ventura, no printer settings hold any more. Even last used settings doesnt seem to work for more than ten minutes. And the presets don't work either. I have an HP Officejet pro 6830 and want to mostly print doublesided and on regular US letter size paper but the print settings keep reverting to A4 paper and also revert to single sided and often have doublesided greyed out. So far most of the comments I have seen have the same sort of problems and no fix for them. Anyone have any suggestions????

First Step might be for you to update to Ventura 13.2 which just released today (01-23-2023)

If you have your printer on your network and can find the IP address for it, most models have a way to use a web browser to access their configuration menus. Once you find the IP, you can just open your browser and enter:

http://192.168.1.50

This IP is just for example. Enter your own.

Then look at the settings menus to see if you can set those parameters there. Specifically for double sided printing and also 8.5" x 11.00 size paper.
