new homepod mini never works, trying to reset - please help

my new homepod couldn´t be configured with iphone 14 pro max. Tried to reset it through mac and it doens´t appear in locations or have any sign of turned on. Using pc with itunes 12.12.7.1 it turns on, is recognized but restoring it never finishes (the bar stays like 95%)

No light doesn't sound good. See Identify status lights on HomePod - Apple Support. Given this is a new device I suspect you need to take it back and get it swapped out.
