Completed Reminders Still Show

After I mark a reminder as completed, it continues to show on the iPhone lock screen. If I open the Reminders app, they show for a second and then disappear. Then they are gone.

The reminders need to be removed from all screens and the app as soon as they are marked completed.

That's not the issue. The issue is that the reminder has _already_ been marked as completed and should not be showing on the lock screen (or anywhere else) _at all_. Like I said, I have to open the Reminders app and, even then, it shows there for a second before it realizes it's completed and removes it. When I hit completed, it should be removed from all devices immediately.

Hello Intellex,

Let's start off by checking the helpful steps in this article which can explain this behavior: Use Reminders on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. In the "Complete a reminder" section, it explains:

"If you get a reminder notification on your Lock Screen, swipe left over the reminder. Tap View, then tap Mark as Completed."

Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue so we can look into this further with you. Thanks and have a fabulous day!

Thank you for the reply Intellex,

To clarify, it does clear it eventually, but there is a delay? Let's make sure your device is up-to-date. If it is updated, let's restart your device. Restarting your device and making sure it is updated can resolve many unexpected issues.
